Process

At Crewson Financial, the process is simple, transparent, and built around your goals. Here’s how we’ll work together.

Step 1: Explore Fit

You’ll start by completing a short form summarizing your situation and objectives.

Then we’ll schedule a complimentary 30-minute intro call to see if we’re a good mutual match.

If we’re aligned, we’ll execute an agreement that clearly outlines project deliverables and fees — no surprises.

Step 2: Share Data

You will take a short risk-tolerance questionnaire and upload key data to a secure shared drive (e.g. most recent financial statements, tax return, insurance policies, etc.) This information serves as the basis for our work together.

Step 3: Plan Creation & Delivery

Behind the scenes, I’ll analyze your situation and craft a custom financial plan designed to optimize your financial life and set you up for success.

If one spouse is the primary driver of the engagement, I offer an optional preliminary review with that person first. After finalizing any loose ends, we’ll do a final review with both spouses (if applicable).

You’ll leave the session confident, informed, and ready to implement the plan.

Step 4 (Optional): Ongoing Advisory

For many clients, the initial blueprint is all you need — and that’s great!

If you would benefit from ongoing reviews of your portfolio and plan, my ongoing advisory services are available to keep you on track.

Advice-only Approach

Crewson Financial is an advice-only firm. That means:

  • You receive a written, personalized financial plan with clear analysis and recommendations.

  • You pay a transparent, one-time fee for Steps 1–3 above.

  • Unlike many advisors, I don’t:

    • Manage your investments or execute trades

    • Sell products

    • Charge ongoing assets-under-management (AUM) fees

    • Deduct fees directly from your accounts

This structure minimizes conflicts of interest and keeps the focus exactly where it belongs — on you.

Are we a match?

Crewson Financial is designed for people who:

  • Understands that optimizations can compound to significant sums over the long-term

  • Prefer expert advice, but are confident implement recommendations on their own

  • Value transparent, one-time pricing and dislike hidden, ongoing fees

  • Want unbiased recommendations — no products, no commissions, no hidden agenda

  • Care about efficiency and hate wasting money unnecessarily

  • Value the chance to ask questions and understand the “why” behind every recommendation

Be sure to read my financial and investing beliefs.
